Install reNIX GTK + Gnome Shell theme in Ubuntu 12.04 Precise/Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric/Linux Mint 13/12 (New Theme)

We have themes collection for Ubuntu/Mint/other distributions. reNIX theme is inpired by Android IceCream Version. So guys made this available for Ubuntu/Mint/Other Linux Versions. NoobsLab did small modification in this theme for better results.

1st Download Wallpapers
2nd Install eOS Icons for this theme and also check Icons Collection
3rd Download reNIX Theme for Chrome/Chromium (Download and just drag+drop to Browser for installation)

Theme Tested on Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin with Gnome Shell 3.4.1 + GTK 3

Install Fonts for this theme open Terminal and enter commands:

To install reNIX theme on Ubuntu/Linux Mint open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

Install Fusion Dark GTK3 + Gnome Shell Theme on Ubuntu 12.04 Precise/Linux Mint 13 Maya

Fusion is dark theme some people really like dark theme, it is available for Gnome Shell 3.4 and GTK 3. It shows white windows border in unity environment but still looks cool.

Install Malys UniColors Orange theme on Gnome Shell for Ubuntu 12.04/11.10/Linux Mint 13/12

This theme is originally created by Malys but mmesantos1 made this available in orange version, it looks really cool on gnome shell.

Plastiq Gnome Shell Theme for Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin/Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot/Linux Mint Lisa 12/Fedora

Installation of Theme:
  • Type in Terminal: "sudo nautilus"
  • Backup /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme folder
  • Extract the archive and rename gnome-shell to theme
  • Copy this folder to /usr/share/gnome-shell/
  • Restart Gnome Shell by hitting Alt+F2, then type r and press enter
  • You can also use Gnome Tweak Tool to install directly from zip file
You can also install theme selector extension and use gnome tweak tool to switch themes. Follow the instructions below (for Ubuntu 11.10):
  • Run the following command: sudo apt-get install git-core
  • Install Gnome Tweak Tool by running following command: sudo apt-get install gnome-tweak-tool
  • Download Gnome Shell extensions by running following command: git clone git://git.gnome.org/gnome-shell-extensions
  • Now access the directory from terminal by running following command: cd gnome-shell-extensions/
  • Finally run this command to install the extension: ./autogen.sh --prefix=$HOME/.local --enable-extensions="user-theme"
  • Logout, come back and use Gnome Tweak Tool to switch themes.

Green Theme Ambiance is perfect if you like oneiric green issues as it goes perfect with any of the default fund.

To install, simply open the terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:
