Mark Shuttleworth said in his blog:
"So our titular totem, our tamper-proof taboo, our tranquil memento of mission and dues, our topical target of both cry and hue, the name for our LTS thoughtful and true: I give you, as Seuss would, with hullabaloo, the temperate and thrifty, the talented and tactful but ultimately, and tellingly, trusty tahr,"This version is scheduled for release on 17 April 2014. Shuttleworth indicated that the focus in this development cycle will be a release that is characterized by "performance, refinement, maintainability, technical debt" and encouraged the developers to make "conservative choices". The Ubuntu developers are hard at work, concentrating their efforts on the Ubuntu 14.04 LTS release, codenamed Trusty Tahr.
