We previously shared mostly used download managers for Linux but xdman is another great download manager available. To install Xtreme Download Manager 2016 in Ubuntu/Linux Mint open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

Terminal Commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/apps
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xdman-downloader

Old Version is still available

XDMAN 5 available for Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial/14.04 Trusty/Ubuntu 12.04 Precise/Linux Mint 18/17/13/and other Ubuntu derivatives
To install Xtreme Download Manager in Ubuntu/Linux Mint open Terminal (Press Ctrl+Alt+T) and copy the following commands in the Terminal:

Terminal Commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:noobslab/apps
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xdman

For other distributions download 32bit or 64bit then extract and execute via terminal.
