LMMS is a free sound studio/editor for Linux, it stands for Linux Multimedia Studio. It allows you to compose, edit, or mix audio with your computer. LMMS includes all the tools you need to create music from scratch (both melodies, synthesizing, mixing sounds, arranging samples and background beats), mix and arrange samples and prefabricated sounds and finally producing and exporting the results. You can have fun with your MIDI keyboard and much more – all in a user-friendly and modern interface. Furthermore LMMS comes with many ready-to-use instrument and effect plugins, presets and samples.
